Common Questions
How do I search for unclaimed money?
Visit cryptoandmoneysearch.com, enter your first and last name, select your country, and click Search. The tool opens 40+ official government databases in new tabs with your name pre-filled. You check each database directly — everything is free, no account needed.
Is the search tool really free?
Yes, completely free. We never charge a fee or take a percentage of recovered funds. Official government unclaimed property registers are always free to search and claim from. Be wary of third-party services that charge upfront fees — the underlying databases are public and free.
Which countries does the tool cover?
35+ countries including the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Ireland, Netherlands, and Switzerland. Each country has its own dedicated page with direct links to official national and regional databases. We also cover cryptocurrency claims from FTX, Celsius, Mt. Gox, BlockFi, and Voyager.
Can I suggest a new database or country?
Yes — email us at contact@cryptoandmoneysearch.com with the database name, country, and official URL. We review all suggestions and add new sources regularly. If you know of an official government dormant asset register we don't currently cover, we want to hear about it.
How do I report a broken link?
Use the form above or email us directly. Please include the country name, the database or institution name, and the specific link that is broken. Government portals change URLs occasionally and we do our best to keep all 40+ sources up to date — user reports are how we find problems quickly.
